I am in the search for the best Menudo in Concord. I would say it ranks high on the list. It is tucked away in the back of the shopping center. Very authentic home recipe food. Staff was friendly also. Horchata was made fresh to order also. Fresh Tortillas are always a plus. We will be back. We heard there is a line in the morning, so it was good we were there mid afternoon.
They have the best torta I have ever had. The service is great too. Very friendly. I would recommend this place to all my coworkers. I had the Carne Asada, so good !!!
First time here and was exhausted from work so just grabbed a safe super burrito. The people inside were very friendly and the food was delicious. A few friends have been here and say the rest of the menu is great too... so I'll be back for more!
This hidden gem is muy delicioso! I ordered taco's, they make their tortillas to order. I had carnitas, so flavorful. It is a bit difficult to find. I actually thought they had closed, because after I tried to find it, after eating here, I found and empty suite, I was at the wrong space. So happy to have found it again!!
Not sure what the deal is with some others' bad experiences, maybe prime time is the lunch crowd???? My coworker said this was the place!!! First, the auntie at the register is so friendly!!!! I asked what smelled so good was it soup in the big pots and she said Menudo, they make it every day. My coworker said his dad used to get it all the time so definitely coming back to try that. I got pastor tacos, definitely one of the best ever!!!!! note, I did not come with my coworker so did not get special treatment because of that. I just came by myself. Lots of people, all speaking Spanish, picking up largeish orders as I waited briefly. I had a bite in my car just to try it but it was so good I snarfed both tacos immediately. It comes in a compostable cardboard container so the tacos don't get sogged out by the steam. So delicious!!! The place is in the back. Park in the back parking lot behind 99 Ranch except it's to the right as you face the back of 99 Ranch. Pro Tip, always enter Park N Shop from the back or drive to the back. So much easier, faster. The front parking lot is for chumps who like to be annoyed by traffic and pedestrians and shopping carts . Same as the pro tip for Trader Joe's. Get in and out through the back.
